“Caz” iyi bir şeydir
Özellikle son bir yıldır caz
müziğinde hareketlenme
yaşanan Bursa’da caz günleri,
Şallıel kardeşlerin Önder Focan
ile birlikte kurdukları Şallıel
Bros & Önder Focan grubu
keyifli anlar yaşattı. Her bir
performansın ayakta alkışlandığı
festivalde “Cazın kadın ozanı”
olarak anılan Şenay Lambaoğlu
da caz severlerle buluştu.
Konser sonunda albümlerini
de imzalayan Lambaoğlu
dışında başka kadın caz
müzisyenleri de vardı. Sevilen
parçalarıyla sahne alan Elif
Çağlar’a, “Davulumla zamanı
durduruyorum” diyen Ferit
Odman eşlik etti. Piyanist ve caz
sanatçısı Ece Göksu, haberci
kimliğiyle tanınan Banu Güven,
kanunuyla yorumladığı caz
şarkılarıyla fark yaratan Birsen
Tezer ve Aşık Veysel, Neşet
Ertaş gibi ustaların eserlerini
caz müziğine katarak söylediği
şarkılarla beğeni toplayan
Jülide Özçelik de festivalin
unutulmayacak anlarına
armoni

The jazz master Emin Fındıkoğlu
who was the opening performer
of the festival went on stage
with 12 musicians at the Eker
Square and made the young
audience live an unforgettable
night. Trumpet artist Barış
Demirel was also at the festival
as well as Kerem Görsev, one
of the heavyweight guests.
Görsev performed his own
compositions as well as world
famous pieces throughout the
night. Torsten Goods & Band
group which made one of the
best breakthroughs in recent
years in jazz and soul music was
also at the Jazz Holiday. Omar
Sosa who was nominated for the
Grammy 5 times went on stage
with Joo Kraus who has been
given the prestigious “Jazz Echo”
award of Germany and played
a blend of Cuban and jazz music.
Festival of surprises
As the International Jazz Holiday
neared its end, Tomatito, the
famous jazz and Flamenco artist
hosted an unexpected guest on
the stage. Sertab Erener went on
stage during the performance
by José Fernández Torres, the
two time Latin Grammy award
winner known as Tomatito thus
