Festivalin açılış programın, Caz
Tatili’nin ilerleyen günlerinde
“+12”si ile yeniden seyirci
karşısındaki yerini alacak olan
duayen isim Emin Fındıkoğlu
üstlendi. Fındıkoğlu ile başlayan
festivalin son gününde ise
sahne İbrahim Maalouf’undu.
Program da belirtilmediği halde
konserlerden birinde aniden
seyirci karşısına çıkan Sertab
Erener ise festivalin en keyifli
sürpriziydi.
Bursa’nın “caz” molası
Emin Fındıkoğlu’nun 29 Ocak’ta
yaptığı açılışın ertesi günü
Bursalı caz sanatçısı Ferit
Odman Quartet sahne aldı.
Festival kapsamında Nazım
Hikmet Kültür Evi’nde verdiği
konserde Odman’a, Türkiye’nin
caz efsanelerinden Engin
Recepoğulları (saksafon),
Ercüment Orkut (piyano) ve
Kağan Yıldız (kontrbas) eşlik
etti. Türkiye’nin en başarılı caz
davulcuları arasında önemli
bir yere sahip olan Odman’ın
konserin de sürpriz bir isim
de vardı. Gecede Odman
tarafından sahneye davet edilip
mikrofonu eline alan Fatih Erkoç,
Odman ile birlikte yaptıkları
“True Love” albümünden
bir şarkı seslendirdi. Ertesi
gün birçok filmin müziğine;
Yeni Türkü, Ezginin Günlüğü,
Bülent Ortaçgil gibi isimlerin

the album “True Love” which he
collaborated with Odman. On
the next day, Ayşe Tütüncü who
composed many soundtracks
and worked with artists and
groups like Yeni Türkü, Ezginin
Günlüğü, Bülent Ortaçgil for their
albums went on stage with Emre
Karabulut Quartet.
“Jazz” is a good thing
Jazz has been on the rise
especially during the last year
and the audience spent a
wonderful time thanks to Şallıel
Bros& Önder Focan group
formed by Şallıel Brothers and
Önder Focan. Each and every
performance received a standing
ovation during the festival in
which Şenay Lambaoğlu, known
as the “Lady Poet of Jazz” met
with the audience. There were
other woman jazz musicians
in addition to Lambaoğlu who
signed her albums at the end of
the concert. Ferit Odman who
says, “I stop time with my drum”
accompanied Elif Çağlar who
played her well loved songs.
Pianist and jazz artist Ece
Göksu, Banu Güven known as a
reporter, Birsen Tezer who made
a difference with the jazz songs
she played with a zither and
Jülide Özçelik who sang songs
of masters such as Aşık Veysel,
Neşet Ertaş in the form of jazz
were among the women artists
who left unforgettable marks in
the festival.
“Jazz” full of love
The performance of the festival
on Valentine’s Day, 14th of
February was by Atiye. Atiye
went on stage with a concert
appropriately entitled “Beloved
Jazz” and sang all her songs for
love. Atiye also got credit with
her dancing and the audience
was awed when she played the
darbuka expertly. Songs from
all regions of Turkey played on
the stage where Nida Ateş and
Elie Maalouf performed together
made the audience rejoice.
