Fusion… İlk kez 1800’lü yılların
sonlarında New Orleans’ta
ortaya çıktığından günümüze
ulaşana kadar değişti, gelişti
büyüdü ve birçok farklı tür
kazandı caz müziği. Afrikalıların
kölelik zamanlarında filizlenip
bugünlere kadar geldi.
Amerika’ya getirildiklerinde
yanlarına bir müzik aleti bile
almalarına izin verilmeyen
Afrikalıların özgür ruhları,
yetenekleri ve müziğe olan
aşkları sayesinde doğdu
caz. Çalıştırıldıkları tarlalarda,
sokaklarda, yollarda kendi
kendilerine mırıldandıkları
melodilerden doğdu. Bedenleri
köle ama ruhları özgür
Afrikalılar; Avrupa’nın kilise
müziklerini, yöresel ezgilerini
kendi geleneklerine uyarlayıp
çağlar boyu devam edecek ve
asla unutulmayacak bir müzik
türü yarattılar. Her dönem biraz
daha gelişti, her gelen üzerine

musical notes as it pierces their

Rock Fusion… Jazz music
first appeared in New Orleans
towards the end of the 1800s;
it changed, improved and got
transformed until today as jazz
music now has many different
genres. It sprouted during the
times of slavery for the Africans
and reached our today. Jazz was
born from the free spirits, skills
and love of music of the African
people who were not allowed
to take any musical instruments
along with them when they
were brought to America. It
was born out of melodies
whispered by them in the fields,
streets and roads where they
were employed. Africans, with
bodies of slaves but spirits
as free as can be, created a
music genre that will continue
for ages to come and that will
never be forgotten when they
blended the church music and
local tunes of Europe with their
own traditions. It continued to
evolve and with every new comer
something else was added. It
got nourished with the blues,
was influenced from American
music, developed by techniques
such as improvisation, multiple
rhythms and spat thus becoming
a new trend. The world first heard
