Odak noktamız yıllardır “görsellik”

Gerek bu yıl üçüncüsünü düzenlediğimiz Bursa Fotoğraf Yarışması’ndan, gerek yıllar içinde sayfalarımızı süsleyen fotoğraflardan seçtiğimiz görsellerle hazırladığımız özel bir sayı bu… Fotoğrafa adanmış, kendini fotoğraflarla ifade eden bir sayı. Baharı karşıladığımız şu günlerde içinizi açsın diye.

This is a special issue prepared with images from both the 3^rd Bursa Photography Contest that we organized this year as well as a selection of photographs from our previous issues… An issue devoted to photography that expresses itself through photographs. So that it may cheer you up as we are welcoming spring.

Bursa’nın fotoğraf kültürüne büyük emekler harcamış, fotoğraf sanatına çok yönlü çalışmalar gerçekleştirmiş bir yayın Dergi Bursa. Gerek amatör gerek profesyonel fotoğrafçılara sayfalarını açmış, bugüne dek binlerce fotoğrafı sayfalarında sunmuş, sanki bir fotoğraf dergisidir bu yayın.

Dergi Bursa is a publication that has worked immensely for the photography culture of Bursa with many photography related activities under its belt. It is almost a journal on photography which has opened its pages to thousands of images by both amateur and professional photographers.

Bursa Fotoğraf Yarışması

Bursa’yı sunarken dergimizin görselliği çalıştığımız fotoğrafçılarla sınırlı kalmasın, bencilce bir yaklaşım oluşmasın diye başlattığımız Bursa Fotoğraf Yarışması’na bugüne dek yaklaşık 4500 fotoğrafçı katıldı. Üstelik sadece Bursa’dan da değil, Türkiye’nin her yerinden. Yaptığımız tüm iletişim çalışmaları, sosyal medya etkinlikleri Bursalılarla binlerce fotoğrafın bir araya gelmesi içindi. Ulusal ve yerel basında çıkan yarışma haberlerimizle etkileşim seviyemiz çok daha uzaklara ulaştı. Yarışmacı profillerine baktığımızda Ardahan’a, Mardin’e, Mersin’e, Artvin’e dek uzanan mesafeler gördük. Neredeyse Bursa’daki tüm alışveriş merkezlerinde, kültür merkezlerinde sergiler açıp fotoğrafçıları ve birbirinden eşsiz fotoğraflarını Bursalılarla buluşturduk. Onları birçok ödül ile isteklendirdik ve fotoğraf üretimine sevk ettik. Bazı yarışmalarımızda para ödülleri, bazılarında lüks otellerde tatiller, uçak biletleri, fotoğraf makineleri, güç kaynakları, lensler, dergi abonelikleri, sağlık taramaları gibi çeşit çeşit ödüller dağıttık. Fotoğrafçılarımızı ulaştırabildiğimiz kadar geniş kitlelere taşıdık. İşte bu yüzden odak noktası temalı bu sayımızı tamamen “fotoğrafa” ayırdık.

Bursa Photography Contest

About 4500 photographers have participated in the Bursa Photography Contest that was started in an effort to ensure that the visuality of our magazine is not limited to only the photographers that we work with and to avoid any selfish approaches. And not only from Bursa but from all over Turkey. All our communication efforts, social media activities were to bring together the locals of Bursa with thousands of photographs. Our level of interaction extended much further thanks to news in both the national and local press. Competitor profiles covered distances extending from Ardahan to Mardin, Mersin or Artvin. We held exhibitions in almost all shopping malls and cultural centers in Bursa thus bringing together the locals of Bursa with the photographers and their unique photographs. We motivated them with many awards and encouraged them to take more pictures. In some of our contests, we gave out awards ranging from prize moneys to holidays in luxury hotels, plane tickets, cameras, power supplies, lenses, magazine subscriptions, check-ups. We carried our photographers to the public as much as we could. That is why; this issue with a theme of focus point is solely on “photography”.
