Gösterime girdiği 2007 yılında herkesi, kendi “Bucket List”ini yapmaya teşvik etmiş; hem oyuncu kadrosu hem de konusuyla sinema tarihine derin izler bırakmıştı. Türkiye’de “Şimdi ya da Asla” adıyla yayınlanan film birçok hayata dokunmuş, izleyenlerin bakış açısını baştan aşağıya değiştirmişti. Filmde Jack Nicholson ve Morgan Freeman tarafından canlandırılan iki karakterin, ölmeden yapmak istedikleri her şeyi yazdıkları listeyi hayata geçirmeleri anlatılıyordu. İki dostun rehberi ise hayatın özetini oluşturan iki soruydu: “Yaşamında mutluluğu buldun mu?” ve “Yaşamın başkalarına mutluluk getirdi mi?”
If happiness could fit in a list
It had encouraged everyone to prepare their own “Bucket List” when it was screened in 2007 and had left a deep impact in the history of cinema both with its cast and storyline. The movie was screened in Turkey as “Şimdi ya da Asla” and had touched the lives of many while making significant changes in the perspective of the viewers towards life. The movie was about two characters played by Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman who were trying to complete their bucket lists before they die. These two questions summarizing our lives were the guides of these two friends: “Did you find happiness in your life?” and “Did your life bring forth happiness to others?”
