1. Kent Müzesi
Bursa’nın eski adliye binası,
geçirdiği restorasyondan
sonra Bursa Kent Müzesi
olarak ziyarete açıldı. 2004
yılından beri Bursa’nın 7000
yıllık tarihine ışık tutan müze
3 kattan oluşuyor. Müzenin
bodrum katında “El Sanatları
Çarşısı” adındaki tematik galeri
bulunuyor. Bursa’nın gelişiminin
kronolojik olarak sunulduğu
zemin katta “Uygarlıklar Kenti
Bursa” adı verilerek anlatılan
dönem, Prusa Kalesi’nin
fethinden başlıyor ve Kurtuluş
Savaşı ile sona eriyor. “Çağdaş
Bursa” olarak adlandırılan
diğer bölümde ise Cumhuriyet
Dönemi boyunca Bursa’nın
çağdaş bir kente dönüşmesinin
ayrıntıları veriliyor. Müzenin bir
diğer bölümü olan birinci katta
da şehrin değerleri ile yaşayan
Bursa anlatılıyor. Gelenek
ve görenekler, kültür, sosyal
ilişkiler gibi, şehrin yaşayan
ve yaşatılan her simgesinin
sergilendiği bu bölüm şehrin
tüm değişim ve gelişimlerini
ayrıntılarıyla sunuyor. European
Museum Forum’un 2006
yılı Mayıs ayında Lizbon’da
düzenlenen ödül töreninde
“Avrupa’nın Ödüllü Müzesi”
unvanını da alan Bursa Kent
Müzesi, sahip olduğu Avrupa
standartları ile kenti temsil
ediyor.
2. Karagöz Müzesi
2007 yılında 10.yılını
tamamlayan Karagöz Sanat
Evi, aynı yıl Bursa Büyükşehir
Belediyesi tarafından müze
haline getirildi. Gölge oyununun
ve tarihçesinin detaylı olarak
anlatıldığı müzede, özgün
Karagöz tasvirleri sergileniyor.
Ayrıca Bursa’da düzenli olarak
Karagöz gösterilerinin yapıldığı
tek mekân olma özelliğine
sahip müzenin içinde bir sanat
atölyesi de bulunuyor. Atölyede
gölge oyunu tasvirleri yapımı
ve gölge oyunu oynatımı
konusunda ücretsiz kurslar
veriliyor.
3. Merinos Enerji Müzesi
Merinos Yünlü Dokuma
Fabrikası’na ve 1973
senesine kadar Bursa’nın bazı
bölgelerine elektrik üretimi
sağlayan Merinos Elektrik
Santrali’nin restore edilmesiyle
oluşturulan Enerji Müzesi
elektriğin, medeniyetin gelişimi
ve değişimi üzerindeki etkisini
yansıtma amacı taşıyor.
Bursa’nın ev sahipliğinde
gerçekleştirilen Avrupa Müze
Akademisi (EMA) toplantısı
kapsamındaki Micheletti Ödülü
Yarışması’nda, sanayi mirasının
korunmasına katkıda bulunan
Avrupa’nın en iyi 6 müzesi
arasında yerini alan Merinos
Enerji Müzesi 6 bölümden
1.City Museum
The old court house of Bursa
was opened to visitors as
the Bursa City Museum after
some restorations. Bursa City
Museum, which has shed light
on the 7000 years history of
Bursa since 2004, has three
floors. In the basement floor
of the museum is the thematic
gallery of “Crafts Market”. On
the ground floor where the
chronological development of
Bursa is presented, is the period
that is called “Bursa the City
of Civilizations”, starting from
the invasion of Prusa Citadel
and ending with the Turkish
Independence War. On the other
section called “Modern Bursa”,
the details of how Bursa was
converted into a modern city
can be seen. This section, where
each living and regenerated
symbols of the city like customs
and traditions, culture, social
relations are displayed, presents
all the development and changes
of the city in detail. Bursa City
Museum, which won the title of
“Awarded Museum of Europe”,
represents the city with the
European standards it has in the
award ceremony of European
Museum Forum held in Lisbon in
May, 2006.
2.Karagoz Museum
The Karagoz Art House,
completing its 10th year in 2007,
was converted into a museum
by the Bursa Metropolitan
Municipality in the same year.
In the museum, where shadow
puppetry and the history of it is
explained in detail, the original
portraits of Karagoz are on
display. Also, having the feature
of being the only place which has
Karagoz shows on a regular basis
in Bursa, there is an art studio
in the museum. In the studio
workshop, courses on how to
make shadow play figures and
how to perform a shadow game
are offered free of charge.
3. Merinos Energy Museum
The Energy Museum, which
was formed by the restoration
of Merinos Power Plant, which
supplied electricity to Merinos
Wool Weaving Factory and to
some parts of Bursa until 1973,
aims at reflecting the effects of
electricity on development and
evolution of a civilization. Merinos
Energy Museum, by contributing
to the protection of industrial
heritage took its place among
the 6 best museums of Europe
in Micheletti Award within the
scope of European Museum
Academy (EMA) meeting hosted
by Bursa, consists of 6 chapters.
In the museum where electricity
production phases are explained
to visitors with animations and
drama, being subject to all kinds
of energy supply with boiler
room, pump room, electrical
distribution, condensation, hot
water parts, maquette narration
and video shows for the efficient
use are offered to the visitors. The
museum, displaying the pictures
and memories of power plant
workers, who worked here for
many years, draws interest with
this feature.
Bursa’nın kültürünün, geleneklerinin, dünden bugüne gelişim ve değişimlerinin canlandırıldığı müzelerde,
bazıları unutulmaya yüz tutmuş, tarihi değerlerimiz yaşatılıyor. Kentin binlerce yıllık geçmişine ışık tutan, tüm
ziyaretçilerini zamanda yolculuğa çıkaran binalarda Bursa’nın gelişim ve değişimindeki evreler sergileniyor.
Bursa’nın ve Bursalıların tarihi, bu müzeler ile zamana tutunarak geleceğe taşınıyor.
In the museums where the culture, the traditions, the development and the changes from past to present of Bursa are
regenerated, some historical values sinking into oblivion are kept alive. In the buildings, which shed light on the city’s
thousands of years of history and where the visitors are taken to a journey through time, the stages in the development
and changes of Bursa are on display. By clinging on time, the history of Bursa and the people of Bursa, is moved
forward to future with those museums.
