1. Arap Şükrü Street
Since 1992, the street has been
a popular tourist spot due to its
fish and soup restaurants and
entertainment venues. The original
name of the street was Sakarya
Avenue and its beginnings can
be traced back to the famous
Jewish Reşat fish shop. The
Geruş Temple, which is used
by the Jewish community, can
also be found in this street. Arap
Şükrü Street was renovated in the
second half of 20th century and
its bustling nightlife attracts tourist
from Turkey and abroad.
2. Cumalıkızık
Cumalıkızık Village is also
known as the “Living Ottoman
Village” is a perfect example of
Ottoman country architecture
with it’s origins going back to the
1300’s. The nature and culture
of Cumalıkızık Village have been
preserved which transformed it
into an open air museum. It has
also been nominated for Unesco’s
World Heritage List. What is more,
the uniqueness of the place has
made it popular not only among
tourists but also local and foreign
movie producers who choose it as
a location for their TV series and
movies. Houses with yellow, blue,
white, purple and green walls, a
mosque, a Turkish bath, a fountain
and two monumental sycamore
trees are a definite must-see.
3. Gölyazı
With a history reaches back
to antic history and unique
geographical beauties, Gölyazı
is located on a peninsula on the
eastern edge of Uluabat Lake
and gained popularity due to its
ancient origins and one-of-a-
kind geographical features. The
main attraction, known as “the
weeping sycamore”, can be found
at the beginning of the bridge
that connects the peninsula to
mainland. Doesn’t matter if you

spend a weekend watching the
sunset and tasting traditionally

4. Hisar and Tophane

5. The Sycamore Of İnkaya
You tour of Bursa would not be
complete without visiting the
Turkey’s oldest sycamore tree in
which is over 600 years old. It is
impossible to miss this attraction
when travelling from to Uludağ
to Bursa through İnkaya Village
due to its enormous size- it’s 35
meters high with a girth of 9.45
meters and 3 meters in diameter.
