41 Bursa’nın gizemli geçmişini ziyaretçilerine, güzelliklerini onu çevreleyen Uluabat Gölü’ne yansıtan Gölyazı, Bursa’nın ilk yerleşim yerlerinden biri. Göçmen kuşların uğrak yeri Uluabat Gölü’nün yuva olduğu 8 adacıktan birine, Halilbey Adası’na küçük bir köprüyle bağlanmış; sevimli, samimi bir ada Gölyazı. Leyleklerin, fotoğrafçıların, uçurtma şenliklerinin, bisiklet tutkunlarının gözbebeği bu ada, son zamanlarda yaşadığı değişim ve gördüğü ilgiyle daha da renklendi ve büyülü geçmişini gelecek nesillere taşımaya hazır. Her yıl fotoğrafçıları, ressamları, müzisyenleri, edebiyatçıları, sporcuları, doğaseverleri, tarih ve mitoloji tutkunlarını buluşturan Gölyazı, göçmen kuşların sadakati ve mitolojik kahramanlara ait ruhlarla korunuyor sanki. Gölyazı’nın dilden dile anlatılan hikâyeleri ve seyre değer günbatımı manzaraları Uluabat Gölü’nün bereketli sularına yansıyor. Adaya girerken köprüyü geçer geçmez göreceğiniz Ağlayan Çınar’ın sizi şefkatle kucaklayan dalları altında, göl kenarında suyla yeniden kavuşmayı bekleyen kayıkların yanı başında leylekler ve balıkçıl kuşlar selamlar sizi. Gölyazı, reflecting the mysterious past of Bursa to its visitors and its beauties to the Uluabat Lake around it is one of the first settlements of the city. Gölyazı is a pretty and warm island connected by a bridge to Halilbey Island, one of the 8 islands on Uluabat Lake frequented by migratory birds. The island that is popular among storks, photographers, kite festivals and bike lovers became even more attractive due to the change it underwent in recent years and is now ready to pass down its magical past to posterity. Every year photographers, painters, musicians, authors, sportsmen, nature lovers, history and mythology aficionados gather in Gölyazı which seems to be protected by the loyalty of migratory birds and the spirits of mythic heroes. The stories of Gölyazı and its unique views are reflected on the fertile waters of the Uluabat Lake.
