Tarihten mimarîye, edebiyattan tasavvufa, hatta müziğe kadar her şey yeni bir bakış açısına bürünmüş. Öyle ki zamanın ete kemiğe büründüğünü anlatmaya çalışan Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar şu sözlerle çok şeyi açıklıyor: “Şimdiye kadar gördüğüm şehirler içinde Bursa kadar muayyen bir devrin malı olan bir başkasını hatırlamıyorum.” Öyle ya zaten “Beş Şehir”den bir tanesi değil miydi Bursa Tanpınar için. “Bursa’da Zaman” derken; bir cami, bir türbe, bir han, bir mezar taşı, eski bir çınar, bir çeşme olarak çıktı karşımıza Bursa. Osmanlı’ya başkentlik yapmış olan Bursa tarihten birçok izi de beraberinde taşıdı. Mescid-i Haram, Mescid-i Nebevi, Mescid-i Aksa ve Şam Emeviye Cami’nden sonra İslam’da beşinci makam olarak kabul edilen Ulu Cami as the fifth important location for Islam after Mescid-i Haram, Mescid-i Nebevi, Mescid-i Aksa and Damascus Emeviye Mosque. Or the Tophane and Muradiye region where the tombs of the majority of the Ottoman ancestors are located. Or the Emir Sultan Külliye... If we consider spiritual travel as the route for belief tourism in Bursa, one should also include Orhan Mosque, Hüdavendigar Mosque, Yıldırım Bayezid Mosque and their social complexes (külliye) as well. Of course, the Green Mosque and the Green Tomb that have become the symbols of Bursa should receive significant attention. Moreover, this trip is not considered as complete without stopping by the Karabaş-i Veli Cultural Center to greet the ascetics. There are many locations in Bursa that embrace travelers seeking spiritual routes. Taking a step towards them amidst the autumn melancholia would be good for the hearts.
