30 bursa dokusu bursa motifs Erguvanın en gösterişli vakti Mayıs… Gel gelelim Nisan başlarından itibaren sunmaya başlıyor güzelliğini. Baharı müjdelemek için sabırsız bir çiçek. Daha yapraklarını vermeden son derece cömert bir tutumla çiçek tohumlarını açıveriyor. Bu çiçekler ne yazık ki çok kısa ömürlü. Yaprakları en geç bir ay içinde yağmurlarla birlikte toprağa geri dönüyor; bereketin, kardeşliğin, paylaşımın simgesi Erguvan’ın… Erguvan ağacının Farsça olan adını aldığı renk ise doğal yollarla üretilen en zor renk olma özelliğine sahip. Bu yüzden Bizans hükümdarlarının kıyafetlerinde kullanılmış ve bu yönüyle bir zenginlik, güç, asalet simgesi olarak kabul edilmiş. Öyle ki imparatorlar, krallar dışında bu rengi giymek yasakmış. Bazı asiller, asaletlerini belirtebilmek için kanlarının dahi bu renkte aktığını iddia ederlermiş. Tarihteki yeri İsa zamanına uzanan erguvan, Filistin’de İsa’nın havarilerinden Yahuda’nın onu 30 gümüş karşılığında ihbar ettikten sonra duyduğu pişmanlığın da simgesi. Yahuda’nın kendini astığı erguvan ağacının önceden beyaz olan çiçekleri efsaneye göre, bu utancı kaldıramayarak böyle bir ihanetin yükünü dallarında taşıdığı için utancından kızarmış. Hristiyanların erguvan ağacına “Yahuda (Juda) Ağacı” demeleri de bu yüzdenmiş. before it even comes into leaf. And unfortunately all these flowers are very short- lived. That is why it has been used in the clothes of Byzantine emperors thereby symbolizing wealth, power and nobility. So much so that, it was forbidden to wear this color save for kings. Some aristocrats claimed that their bloods were of this color. The place of redbuds in history dates back to the time of Jesus which symbolizes the remorse that Judas felt after denouncing Him for the price of 30 silver coins. Legend has it that the flowers of the redbud tree which were once white in color transformed into red out of shame after Judas hung himself on its branch. This is why Christians also call the redbud tree as the “Judas Tree”. The strong branches of redbuds were used to make walking canes during the Ottoman era. It also adorned different foods with its color and beauty. It was used to heal diseases with its boiled barks.
