29 Bursa’da günbatımlarının ayak izleri erguvandır, iyi düşünün. Şehrin batısında beliren renk erguvan değil de nedir? Kızarmış bir şeker pembeliği ile mandalina kızılının alacalı bir cümbüşü olmaz mı o mavi saatlerde? Çokça şarap kırmızısı, pek az çivit mavisi ve bolca beyazın harmanı ile oluşan fevkalade zengin bir renk erguvan. Peki ya çiçeği? Pembe midir, gülkurusu mu? Vişne midir, mor mudur, lila mıdır yoksa şarap kırmızısı mı? Aşağı yukarı pembedir. Hafiften mavimsi. Ama öyle herhangi bir mavi de değil; çivit mavisi vardır ya bildiğimiz, işte o maviye çalar gizlice. Bahar geldiğine göre şimdi uyanma vakti... Bursa Ovası’ndaki ve Uludağ yamaçlarındaki tüm koruluklar, sırtlar, erguvan çiçekleriyle ya boyanmış ya da boyanmak üzere. Renk cümbüşü her yerde. Keyif zamanı. Erguvan sanki ışığın içerisinden geliyor bize. Renk almış bir buğu gibi zamanda kaybolmayı bekliyor. Altı üstü 15-20 gün bizimle… Ona sahip olmak da kaybetmek de anlam taşıyor böyle olunca. Yeniden doğuşu simgeliyor. Aynı zamanda yağmurun gelmesiyle düşen tohumlarıyla beraber yok oluşu… Redbuds are the footprints of sunsets in Bursa. Think of it, isn’t the color that appears to the west of the city a purplish red? Doesn’t the sky light up with a mixture of reddish candy pink and mottled crimson of tangerine? Lots of wine red, a little indigo blue and plenty of white mixed in to form the rich hue of redbud. What about its flower? Pink or violet- pink? Maroon, purple, lilac or wine red? Something like pink. Slightly bluish. But not some regular blue; it secretly resembles indigo blue. Time to wake up now since spring is here… All coppice forests on the Bursa Plain and the foothills of Uludağ are about to be covered in redbuds. There is color everywhere. Time to enjoy. It’s as if the color reaches us from inside the light. Waiting to get lost in time like some colored mist. Here with us only for about 15-20 days… And so it is meaningful for us to have it and lose it. It symbolizes rebirth. And also disappearance with its seeds that fall with the coming rain… May is the most spectacular time for redbuds… However, they start to show off their beauty starting from the beginning of April. It is an impatient flower to herald the coming of spring. It spreads out its seeds generously
