40 eğitim education POWER of Imagination Hayal GÜCÜ Aymer Zülfikar TED Bursa Koleji Düşle & Yap Öğretmeni İçimizde çok büyük bir enerji ve güç taşıdığımızın farkında mıyız acaba? Yoksa bu eşi benzeri olmayan hayal etme gücümüzü kıymetli bir hazine sandığı gibi kapalı mı tutuyoruz? Günlük işlerden, sorumluluk ve yükümlülüklerden sıra bir türlü hazine sandığımızı açmaya gelmiyor mu? Aslında her sabah açsak o hayal penceresini, perdesini aralasak biraz, hayal dünyamızın içimizi ısıtmasına ışığıyla bizi sarıp sarmalamasına izin versek. Yaşamımıza neşe katsak, çocuklarımıza rehber olsak belki de o zaman güzel değişiklikler olacak yaşantımızda. Bazen çok düşünüyoruz ama belki de düşündüğümüzü sanıyoruz. Belki de tek yaptığımız aynı yolda yürürken değişik şekilde yürümek gibidir. Bazen bakış açısını genişletmek, başka yollar olabileceğini hayal etmek, yeni yollar aramak, hatta bazen de yeni yollar açmak gerekir. Bu arayış kimi zaman en kısa yol için kimi zaman ise bizi en mutlu edecek yol için olmalıdır. Maalesef hayat telaşemizle boğuşurken çocuklarımızın da bizimle bu yolda yürüdüğünü unutabiliyor, onları keskin kalıpların içerisine hapsedebiliyoruz. Çocuğumuzun her dakika açtığı birbirinden ilginç ve değerli mücevherlerle dolu sandığın farkında olmadan yaşıyor ve o sandıkları biz yetişkinlerinki gibi tozlu raflara kaldırmalarını istiyoruz. Aslında çocuklarımız öyle eşsiz düşünme ve hayal etme gücüne sahipler ki. Tek istedikleri onlara fırsat vermemiz. Lütfen kendinize ve çocuğunuza o fırsatı verin. Düşünmelerini sağlayacak kendine özgü cevaplar verebileceği sorular sorun. İşte o zaman hayal sandığından çıkacak olan robotları, konuşan lolipopları, eşi benzeri olmayan nadide fikirleri, mükemmel çözüm yollarını görebilirsiniz. Düşünen, sorgulayan ve üreten nesiller yetiştirmek ümidiyle… İyi Hayaller. If only we could open up that window of dreams every morning, let it surround and embrace us with its light. If we could add some joy to our lives, perhaps even be a guide to our children, who knows what kind of beautiful changes would take place in our lives. Sometimes we think too much but maybe we just think that we do. Perhaps it is as if changing our style of walking while remaining on the same path. Sometimes it is necessary to widen our perspective, imagine that new paths are possible, seek for those new paths and even sometimes open up those new paths ourselves. This quest should sometimes be to find the shortest path and sometimes to find the path that will make us happiest. Unfortunately, we may forget that our children are also walking on the same path with us as we struggle with the hustle and bustle of daily lives thereby drag them inside strict molds. We live unware of the chest full of valuable and interesting jewelry opened up by our child every single minute and ask them to take those chests up to dusty shelves just like we adults do. Actually our children have such a unique power of thinking and imagination. All they want is for us to give them a chance. Please give yourself and your children that chance. Ask them questions that will make them think and give unique answers to. That is how you can see the robots, talking lollypops, unique ideas and perfect solutions that will pop out of the chest of imagination.
