35 Mustafa Sülak, Suuçtu Şelalesi, Kasım 2017 Evvel zaman içinde, kalbur saman içinde, cinler top oynarken eski hamam içinde... Günlerden bir gün Toprak Ana, evinde yalnız yaşıyormuş. Yalnız yaşamak zormuş, bu yüzden canı çok sıkılıyormuş. Bir gün kalkmış, Gök Kral’a misafirliğe gitmiş. Sarayın kapısına varınca, gürültüler, patırtılar duymuş. Kapıdaki nöbetçiye, ne olduğunu sormuş. Nöbetçi, “Ne olacak… Mevsim kardeşlerin gürültüsü… İkisi kız, ikisi oğlan dört yaramaz çocuk var. Kavga edip duruyorlar” deyince, “Onları bana gönderin. Ben yalnızım, biraz da benimle kalsınlar” demiş. Toprak Ana bunun üzerine evine dönmüş, mevsim kardeşleri beklemeye başlamış. Önce en küçük kardeş gelmiş. Pembe, beyaz saçlı, güzel bir çocukmuş. Toprak Ana’ya, “Benim adım İlkbahar, size ufak bir armağan getirdim” demiş ve çantasından tomurcuklanmış dallar, renk renk çiçek demetleri, cıvıl cıvıl ötüşen kuşlar çıkarmış. Çok geçmeden tombul, kırmızı yanaklı bir kız olan ‘Yaz’ gelmiş… Kardeşine, “Haydi çekil bakalım, bak ben geldim” demiş. Sonra o da çantasından çilek, kiraz, şeftali, erik gibi meyveler çıkarmış ve Toprak Ana’ya Once upon a time, as genies played ball in the old Turkish bath… One day Mother Earth was living alone in her house. Soon after ‘Summer’ came; a plump, red cheeked girl… She said to her sibling, “Move aside then, here I come”. After which she took out fruits like strawberry, cherry, peach, plum from her bag and gave them to Mother Earth. Then came their third sibling. A child that is yellow all over.
